Dhara and Radha - In Meditation / More / Note

Every human being is at the lowest stage because dhara (current) of every one is flowing downwards (involvement in Material Activities etc) and breath is going from nose to lungs, again downwards. When this dhara is changed to Radha (reversal of Dhara) then current begins to flow upwards (one reaches the highest stage) means breath begins to travel from brain and back bone/ spinal cord. How dhara is converted into Radha that is made possible by 1. Knowledge 2. Practice 3. Imbibing of knowledge (dharan karna).

Note: Hence Radha Grace is Required For Both Personnel Form and Impersonal Form of Meditation

Tamala

Radhika has not met with Krsna for awhile–perhaps He has gone off with another gopi, or perhaps He has gone to Mathura. In the madness of Her love for Him, She sees a dark Tamala tree and genuinely thinks it is Him. She embraces the tree and feels great satisfaction, and Krsna appears within the tree to receive Her embrace.

pili-pokhara

Once, the unmarried daughter of Kirtida, Srimati Radhika, and Her sakhis went to Nandgaon to see Yasoda-maiya. Charmed by srimati Radhika's beauty and qualities, Yasoda-maiya desired in her heart to marry Radhika to her son Krsna and thus have Her as her daughter-in-law. So great was her desire that she painted Kisori Radha's hands yellow. Radhika's heart became very happy but, as She returned to Her father's house in Varsana, She became quite embarrassed. She washed and scrubbed Her hands in this pond, and the pond's water turned yellow. This pond is therefore called pili-pokhara, "the yellow pond".
